Allan House Downtown Austin Wedding | Mike + Gaby

Mike & Gaby’s spring wedding at the Allan House in Downtown Austin was the most incredible celebration of their love. 

I have shot at the Allan house before, but it was in the wintertime, so there was a tent over the outdoor space to keep it warm. Without the tent, I felt like the Allan House truly got to shine. Trees shaded the garden area during the ceremony while giant chandeliers lit up the reception as the sunset. 

The whole day was filled with friends and family celebrating Gaby & Mike. I have never had so many guests come up to just tell me how much they love a couple – it was evident that Gaby & Mike are two incredibly special individuals. 

It was so fun to watch their wedding day vision come to life; it was the perfect start to the spring. The day was filled with gorgeous pastels, greenery and gold hues. It was the perfect mix of elegance and fun! Gaby & Mike’s celebration was shared by all – they even popped champagne with their wedding party while walking through downtown Austin. 

While I love every part of wedding day’s but I would have to say one of my favorite parts of Gaby and Mikes wedding days was right after their ceremony when all of their friends and family rushed in to hug and congratulate them. It was a sweet testament of how loved they are. I also loved getting to listen to their families speeches during the reception. Every guest was laughing as Mike’s brother shared stories from childhood, and as Gaby’s dad took a shot after getting through his speech. And we were all teary-eyed as Mike’s brother shared how much his relationship with Mike meant to him. It was such a heartfelt time and an honor to witness.
