I can’t tell you how many times I have driven over Vail pass and been completely amazed by the mountain views on the other side.
Shrine pass has the most magical view of the mountains on all sides. The first summer I came to Colorado, we attempted to hike up to Shrine Pass but got rained out.
Since then, I have always wanted to go back and take photos at the pass but had yet to find a couple down to go in the morning.
Robin and Andrew were willing to get up early and meet me at the pass for sunrise last weekend and let me tell you; it was worth it.
We couldn’t go on the pass trail up to the top since that is quite a hike, but we explored the snowmobile trails and treelined paths all around. The mountain views were just breathtaking all around.
We spent the morning getting to know each other, connecting over our dreams about living tiny and homesteading and getting exciting about their wedding this July.
The mountain views will never get old in Colorado; every time I come around a corner and see majestic mountains, I am left speechless.
Shrine Pass is one place that I get so excited to drive by every time I drive to or from Denver.
As you can tell by the photos, not only is the location stunning, but so are Robin and Andrew!
