Leslie & Garrett’s morning wedding at Old Bethany was the first brunch wedding I ever photographed and let me tell ya I’m a big fan.
My dance moves are nonexistent and what moves I do have don’t need to burn anyone’s eyes. So the whole no dancing and more brunching is a win-win in my book.
They decorated the white walls of the Old Bethany barn in green, white and pink florals and finished the tables in gray linens. Everything was beautiful. They filled the venue with all sorts of brunch themed touches, a mimosa, smoothie, and coffee bar before the reception, and even had a cinnamon roll cake and donut bar for after brunch.
Leslie and Garrett spent their morning surrounded by close family and friends; their day was filled with worship and fellowship. Their friends showered them with love throughout their speeches. They filled the room with laughter, sharing how Garrett asked Leslie’s dad for permission to marry Leslie. They filled the room with tears as they shared what an incredible friend and support both Leslie and Garrett have been to them. It was clear how much love these two shared for those around them. It was a joy for them to be celebrated by so many.
Leslie and Garrett decided not to see each other till they walked down the aisle, but Leslie still wanted a first look with her dad. Let me tell you; everyone watching was in tears, it was one of the sweetest father-daughter first looks I’ve ever witnessed.
Their whole day was filled with touching moments as these two became one. It was a morning filled with peace and celebration. It was a joy and honor to be a part of!
Not only did I fall in love with brunch wedding but also flower petal exits! It was the perfect way to send Leslie and Garrett off to Hawaii to start their new life together!
